The Victory Sunflowers for Ukraine Cowl design came from my hope to knit peace and victory for Ukraine with each stitch.
The cowl is a narrow small cowl and can be any height desired if you knit fewer stockinette rows.
This cowl has 9 repeats of the sunflower motif. If you wanted to change the size of the cowl, you must add multiples of 16 stitches for the additional sunflower motifs.
The Victory Sunflowers for Ukraine Cowl uses 5 different colors of yarn (or colors can be held together or marled to create an impression of another color).
The cowl uses fingering weight yarn but could be knitted in other weights as well.
