Vide Mitts are beautiful and delicate mitts that keeps your fingers free. You can wear them indoors while working, since they don’t get in the way. If you want a longer, more covering pair of mitts, it is a very easy modification to make. They’re also really great for children that often refuse mittens, they cover their hands, but don’t restrict their play and the short cuff makes it easy to put them on and tuck under the snowsuit cuff. I work at a preschool and this it the prefect kind of garment for those small hands when it is cold but not freezing outside. Mittens have a tendency not to stay on for very long but mitts work perfectly. Vide mitts come in sizes from toddler to large adult so you could make matching sets for your family if you want to. This pattern is a part of the Vide collection and you can buy the entire collection at a reduced price here.
