It’s September. The nights have turned cool and in the mornings you can feel the autumn in the air. Some birds already gather in flocks, ready for the journey. Families and friends gather together, prepare with secateurs and baskets and head to the vineyard.
The hat is knit from the bottom up. The Tubular cast on gives a neat polished look to the edge. After the ribbed brim, the body of the hat is worked in a lace pattern that shows the vine leaves and grapes ready to be picked.
The crown decreases are integrated into the pattern.
