Simple beanies are always my favorites and Viima Beanie is no exception. In all the simplicity, it’s a big favorite of mine this winter. I just adore the yarn used on this one, partially because this color is so beautiful!

Similar to my Oak Beanie from last year, Viima Beanie is knitted from the brim up in beautiful bulky weight yarn. It’s even perfect for last minute gifts.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 (1) skein of Suoma Chunky by Kässäkerho Pom Pom (100% wool; 130 yds (120 m) / 150 g). Approx. 100 (130) yds / 90 (120) m of bulky weight yarn. Sample is knitted in color Muste (dark
blue) and in size 1.
Needles: US 11 8 mm circular needle, 16” 40 cm long and dpns, or longer circular needle if using magic loop technique.
Other: A stitch marker and locking stitch markers, tapestry needle and blocking aids.

Finished measurements: 16 (18)” / 40 (45) cm in circumference at brim and 14” / 35 cm long.
