Yarn

50 (50) 70 g of sport weight yarn, approximately 210 m (230 yds) per 100g. The sample hat was knitted with Nordic Yarn Fine Merino (100% Merino 150 m/ 164 yds per 50 g).

Needles

3 mm/ US 2.5 circular needle or double-pointed needles for brim
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle or needle size to obtain gauge
3.5 mm / US 4 double-pointed needles (or needle size to obtain gauge) for the crown if not worked with the magic loop technique

Gauge
