The pattern is inspired by Viking Runes but is just a representation of different runes it does not translate to any particular message.

The pictured example was made using Yarnsmiths Lagoon DK in shade Venetian lagoon and Yarnsmiths Create DK in Anthracite Grey. The blanket measures approximately 137cm x 142cm using a 3mm hook. This would be larger if you changed to a 4mm hook or a heavier weight yarn.
