This is a knitting pattern suitable for experienced knitters, and involves the following techniques:
- knitting and purling
- working flat and in the round
- decreases: k 2 tog, p 2 tog, p 3 tog, SSK
- increases: M 1, M 1 purlwise
- slip 1
- casting on and casting off. (I use the crochet cast on and pinhole cast on. Photo instructions for the pinhole cast on are included with the pattern. I’ve also posted video demonstrations of these techniques:

This pattern is written in English and all needle sizes, abbreviations, etc. are American. Contains 18 fully-illustrated pages with large, easy-to-read text and lots of photos, diagrams and charts to accompany the written instructions.

Dark Red: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Rooibos Heather; 1 skein
Cream: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Oyster Heather; 1 skein
Orange: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Pumpkin; 1 skein
Dark Brown: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Chocolate; 1 skein
