The Villa Pullover Jr is knit top-down in the round seamlessly. First the neckline is worked in ribbing and folded over. Then the back is shaped using german short rows. After this, increases are made before each Pippi Pattern. Stitches for the arms are placed on a stitch holder while the rest of the body is worked. The arms are then picked up and worked, also incorporating the Pippi Stitch while making decreases evenly down the sleeve.

The pullover is knit using three colors: white is the main color, while red and blue are secondary colors. The sweater incorporates the Pippi Pattern, which is worked over 5 rows/rounds in a secondary color.
