Villa Vest
The knit stitch pattern on this vest is made using
twisted stitches, which look like one-over-one
cables but are simpler to execute. To me, the
V’s are reminiscent of little rooftops. This vest,
in my favorite color and with this rhythmic stitch pattern,
feels like home to me, so I named it the Villa Vest.
The Villa Vest is worked flat, from the bottom up, in two
pieces that are seamed together at the shoulders and
sides. The front and back both feature a garter stitch center
flanked by two panels running the length of the vest
in a decorative twisted pattern.
