In Wisconsin we see a lot of homes and barns with large wooden quilt squares adorning their exterior. The inspiration for the Village Square lap quilt came directly from a wooden barn quilt. To add an extra twist or texture, this pattern uses stitched together C2C blocks with images of houses, trees and a traditional quilt star.
