This sweater is based on a favourite sweatshirt of mine that I just needed to have in a squishy DK weight yarn.
The end result is a classic, wearable sweater with a neat trim detail just before the hems.

The sweater is knitted top down, first flat across the back, then the front shoulders are picked up and knitted flat across the chest before the sweater is joined in the round. The sleeves and neckline all use the pick up and knit in the round method.

The Villea sweater is knitted in stocking stitch throughout with the exception of the trim detail and the ribbing for the hems.
