Vilorelle Shawl

Inspired by botanical patterns, this design features repetitions of leaves, big enough to catch the eye but soft and fuzzy at the same time because of the nature of the yarn. It is a simple enough pattern, with basic decreases and increases, and because it is knitted with 2 strands of yarn it works up fast.

Needles: It’s worked back and forth on circular needles size 8mm.

Finished measurements: 45 x 150 cm (17.7 x 59 inches)

Gauge: 10 sts with 2 strands of yarn = 10 cm (4 inches) in pattern -
gauge doesn’t really matter as long as you are satisfied with the drape
but width will probably change

Yarn: 5 balls of 50 g Katia Ingenua (57 Light Jeans) - I used a little from the 5th ball just to reach the 150cm length.
