Vimpel
This shawI come about when I wanted to learn how to knit short rows.
I couldn’t stop when I had started because it was so much fun. I changed colour with every triangle and suddenly it was long enough to wrap twice around my neck, so then I sewed the first and last triangle together.
I love that, what started as a learning experiense ended up as my favourite shawl.
The yarn I chose to knit this shawl in is Dandelion Yarns Rosy sport.
Knit 12 triangles for a cowl and knit 22 for a shawl to wrap twice around your neck.
32 m/triangle (12 triangles 384m in total, 22 triangles 704 m in total)
The choise of colour is up to you, many or just a few.
The shawl is knitted in Garter Stitch and the triangles are made with short rows.
