This lovely lace pattern is one of the easiest to memorize, as it is only one pattern row offset by one stitch. It is right out of Barbara Walker, I have simply added garter stitch borders.

It can be easily adapted to almost any yarn.

The cloth in the top photo was made with Sara’s Colorwave Yarns cotton DK weight in the red rose colorway (#4 needles, 39 stitches). The scarf in the bottom photo was made with Sara’s Colorwave Yarns laceweight cotton in the antique rainbow colorway (#4 needles, 48 stitches).
