The Vine Tee is a top-down raglan summer T-shirt. Inspired by the slender form of vines, I designed and incorporated a vine stitch pattern into the Vine Tee. The vine stitch pattern runs elegantly from the collar down through the raglan lines and down to the hem. The back shaping is done with a few flat rows after the yoke, which is much easier than short-row methods and the effect is just as great. The Vine Tee also features an optional high split hem, adorned with another strand of vine stemming from the underarm. The sleeves are designed to be wide and open, and the folded hem adds both ventilation and refinement to the garment.

The vine stitch pattern is provided in charts as well as in written instructions.

Gauge is measured after blocking.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
3.5 mm/US 4 (40 cm/16”, 80 cm/32”) circular needles (or longer circular needles for magic loop) for neck and body ribbing.
4 mm/US 6 (40 cm/16”, 60 cm/24”, 80 cm/32” and 100 cm/40”) circular needles (or longer circular needles for magic loop) for body and sleeves.
… or needles that get you the right gauge.

YARN
Sandnes Garn Line (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen; 50 g = 110 m)

• Split hem version: 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12, 13) balls shown in the colourway 8521;
• No-split hem version: 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12, 13) balls.

For yarn substitution, you may use other DK weight yarn with similar components that gives you a nice drape and obtains the suggested gauge. The required yardage is approximately

• 520 (620, 700, 800, 900) (1010, 1150, 1260, 1360) m / 569 (678, 766, 875, 984) (1105, 1257, 1378, 1487) yards for the split hem version, or
• 540 (650, 740, 850, 960) (1060, 1200, 1320, 1430) m / 591 (711, 809, 930, 1050) (1159, 1312, 1444, 1564) yards for the no split hem version.

These yarn would be a good substitution for the suggested yarn:

• Single stranded: Illimani Sabri II, Sandnes Garn Duo, Drops Belle, BC Garn Lino;
• Double stranded: Sandnes Garn Tynn Line, Holst Garn Coast or Knitting for Olive Pure Silk.

Always swatch before substituting yarn.

藤蔓短袖是一款从上往下编织的插肩袖夏季短袖。它的设计灵感来源于生机蓬勃的藤蔓植株。藤蔓的枝条细长优雅，我依着藤蔓的形状设计了一种镂空花型，将它安排到整件针织短袖上，从领口向下、贯穿插肩线再一直绵延到底边。藤蔓短袖提供了两种设计：侧边开襟款和不开襟的普通款，织友可以根据个人喜好自行选择。袖子的设计宽松舒适，因此夏季穿着时更为凉爽；袖口以双层边收尾，十分精致。

可拆卸记号圈、毛线针、多余的毛线（用于袖子的休针）、麻花针（如果可以徒手拧两针麻花的话则不需要）
