Vineland is a bottom up textured hat, worked in combinations of simple knits and purls that create subtle, debossed climbing vines that converge symmetrically at the crown. The brim is a stretchy 1x1 rib, which can be doubled in length, with enough yarn for an optional pompom. Vineland can be worn as a fitted toque, a semi slouch or full slouch hat, or a folded brim beanie by adapting the size and brim length. You can adjust the circumference of the hat by adding or subtracting columns of the ten stitch pattern repeat, and adjust for length by adding or subtracting multiples of the eight row pattern repeat.

S (M, L)
Fits a 20” (22”, 24”) head.

Recommended ease: Approx. 4”/10 cm negative ease. The elasticity of both the body of the hat and the brim makes the hat fit a wide range of sizes. Choose a size based on how fitted or slouchy you’d like your hat to be.
