Vineyard Breeze Vest may be worn as a top in summer, as well as a perfect layering vest for cooler seasons.

Recommend solid or tonal yarn to best demonstrate cables’ texture.
Vest is worked in the round from the hem upwards to armholes.
Back and Front are worked flat from armholes to Shoulder.
Body of vest features a ribbed hem, stockinette body with center Cable nestled between two braids; braids travel up either side of V-neck to shoulder.

Inspired by a family trip to visit our son, who was working in South Africa, a few years back… we had the opportunity to stay at Dieu Donne Vineyard, where the vintner opened his home to us. Strolling the vineyard, sampling grapes, sipping wine, waking up to incredible views was all marvelous. Situated at the base of the Franschoek mountains, cool night air and warm sunny days created conditions for great wine as well as the need for an extra layer!
Vineyard Breeze Vest features winding vines and a center cable and reminds me of our adventures together.
