Vining Vinca
I love vinca! They are easy to care for and look so pretty in the springtime. I especially like the vining vinca because it spreads out over the ground and I only need to do limited weeding in my garden. Which means I have more time to create new patterns for you! Like this one! You can read more about this square, its developing story, and what inspired it on my blog at knottiehooks.com. If you would like the rest of the squares that go along with this blanket please visit Bearrye.com.
This pattern is fully loaded with links to stitch tutorials, stitch fiddle graph, and a breakdown of that graph within the pattern itself, as well as written instructions.
The Vining Vinca square is worked in rows. You will turn your work at the end of each row. This is a great pattern to start learning tapestry crochet. Most of the colors are worked over more than one stitch which helps with your color changes looking thin. I hope you enjoy this square and please feel free to contact me at faydra@knottiehooks.com with any questions you may have! Have fun!
Skill Level: Advanced beginner. If you can read a pattern you can make this square. A basic knowledge of crochet terminology is needed.
