This hat is inspired by the tapered shape and pastel colours of vintage Christmas ornaments.

Designed around our 2018 12 Days of Christmas box here at The Match Factory we used 5 minis and a skein of Orange Octopus’ custom dyed yarn. This did not use the full 20 grams of the minis and only approx half of the full skein of the main colour. Your mileage may vary.

Knit sideways the ‘ornaments’ are created with short row insets of colour. Worked with wrap and turns there is no need to pick up the wraps in the garter fabric.
