Santa will be so-o-o-o impressed when he sees this stocking hanging from the mantle! The subdued colors and picot turn on the cuff give the stocking an antique look – as if it’s already been handed down a generation or two! This Vintage Christmas Stocking is knit toe-up starting with a provisional cast-on. It features a short-row heel which maintains the continuity of the pattern stitch. The cuff is a double layer of stockinette stitch. It is not bound off; rather open stitches are sewn down inside the stocking.

The pattern requires two skeins of main color and one of each of the contrast colors.
