The pattern is designed for the competent beginner, and features
double, treble and chain stitches
When working in the round, you may find it useful to use a stitch
marker to mark the first stitch of each round, with the first stitch of
the next round being placed directly into the first stitch of the
previous round.
This pattern is designed for a medium sized, 3-4 cup teapot,
however it has some ‘give’ in it. I would advise checking your
progress against your chosen pot at regular intervals, the pattern
can be adapted by adding extra rows at the base to ensure full
cover, or alternatively changing your hook size up or down as
required.
The cosy is worked using DK yarn and a size 4 hook. It is great for
using up odd and ends as it does not require a lot of yarn, and you
can use as many or as few colours as you wish
