I found this pattern in a load of old patterns from my grans old stash over 20 years ago. I tried a few times but the pattern didn’t work out It was really difficult to work out the pattern, so took some time to re-write and tweak the pattern.

A brilliant project for using up odds and ends of wool. I used a toggle for the beak and standard buttons for the eyes.

I have made the cozy in several colour combinations and it came out lovely every time.
