I set myself a challenge to create a design that was easy to knit, but still had a wow factor. Hopefully I have achieved this with this particular design.

Made using a lovely light mohair and silk mix yarn and embellished with buttons and beads, it is a pretty cowl with matching fingerless mitts, that are warm and easy to wear as they are pretty.

The written instructions given are suitable for anyone with a baic knowledge of knitting. There is a little sewing involved, but again it is a basic amount of sewing.

The whole design takes just two balls of kidsilk haze yarn to complete making it a lovely weekend project, that would also be a lovely gift to give.
