I designed this quick knit stocking cap for the Downtown Yarns chunky hats and pompoms window display (Feb 2013).

I was inspired by vintage children’s stocking cap patterns and the chunky quick knit caps of the 1960’s. I knit it in Malabrigo’s Water Green colorway to give it a Snow-Queen-esque touch. A bit of white angora in the pompom completes the look!
