This blanket will be a lovely accent piece in your bedroom or your sitting room. Use up all your scrap pieces of yarn for the centre of each square (8g yarn per centre) and two skeins of 100g each for the main colour of the blanket (this is for a 6 x 5 square blanket). However, you can determine your own size by adding or eliminating squares.

This pattern looks lovely done in one colour only, while doing each round in a different colour will bring out more detail in the square.

If you use a thin cotton thread, this pattern will make a lovely table cloth, table runner or even a tea-tray liner. It’s like having two patterns for the price of one!
