It makes a lovely gift for newlyweds, hostesses, family, friends, relatives, co-workers, teachers, etc.

There is a hole with a cuff to fit around the tree trunk or pole and it closes with buttons down the back. It makes a standard sized skirt measuring approximately 60 inches in diameter, lying flat and blocked.

The samples were made with 100% cotton.

CORRECTION TO ROW 37:
Ch 1, turn. Dc in 1st 2 sts. Ch 1. (Dc in next Dc, ch 1) 7 times, sc in ch-3 loop, ch 1, (DC in next Dc, ch 1,) 7 times.
Repeat* to the end. Dc in last 2 sts.
