Vintage look Crochet Doll Rattle Amigurumi Softie

This little softie crochet doll is a sweet, baby-safe toy, & she is fast & easy to make, with Photo Tutorial! You can embellish her up, or just use a single color for her dress & bonnet, & she will look adorable in any way. You could even put a bell surrounded by fluff in her head, & she becomes a lovely rattle that is fun to shake about. As she uses less than 2 oz. of yarn, she is Perfect for left-overs from your baby dress projects, & she will make a wonderful last-minute baby-shower gift, as she only takes a few hours to complete!

3-ply & a 4mm hook makes a 6 ½” doll.
Sport wt & a 4mm hook makes an 8” doll.
Worsted wt & a 5mm hook makes a 10” doll.

Stitches used:
Ch= chain
Dc= Double crochet
Hdc= half double crochet
Sl st= slip stitch
2dcTog= 2 double crochet together (for decreases)

Items needed:
~4mm hook
~under ½ oz. sport wt yarn in a skin tone (white, dk brown, tan, lt peach, or even blue, if you are into smurfs ;-D)
~around 1 oz. of sport wt yarn for dress & bonnet.
~some ribbon or small crocheted tie
~yarn needle
~bit of embroidery thread ( or may use yarn, both look good) for eyes & mouth
~a hand full or so of stuffing
