• Project Level: Intermediate.
• Yarn: Fingering/3-4ply/Cat. 2 weight yarn recommended. Sport/DK/Worsted also suitable. Amount varies with chosen yarn/intended size. ~1000m/1094yd fingering yarn for generous size.
• Hook: Go up one to two sizes from yarn label recommended hook size to ensure a soft and lacey, delicate drape.
• Size: Size according to personal preference, working as many repeats as needed. 1000m fingering weight yarn cake for shawl ~240cm/94.5in width and ~110cm/43in length.
• Gauge: Specific gauge not required for this design.
• Stitch Terminology: US. Refer to Abbreviations and Special Stitch Instructions.
• Notions: Scissors and darning needle. Stitch markers optional (for marking stitch repeats).
