I can’t help it. I simply love all things vintage. I really should have been born in the 1930s perhaps because my wonderful mother was born in 1927, and I love looking at the black and white photos of her in timeless classic designs of that era, many of which her mother made for her!

This design was inspired by my sister, Teresa, who is currently knitting a vintage sweater using the shale stitch. The pale pink and cream colors I selected for this design help to achieve a vintage feel to the stole.
