This crochet pattern is perfect for beginners. Consists of Single Crochet and Double Crochet stitches.
Make a beautiful crochet trivet/Pot Holder. Perfect for hot pots and pans or hot plates and bowls. This pattern calls for smaller stitches that will give your finished product a higher stitch count. Using small stitches gives this trivet a high stitch count which will allow for a higher quality finish and longer lasting product. Using 100% cotton or wool is ideal for this type of project.
**For any item that will come into contact with extreme heat or cold temperatures, use cotton or wool yarn. Acrylic yarn will melt under extreme heat and will not absorb as well as cotton or wool.**
This pattern will create a gorgeous 8-9 inch crochet Trivet/Pot Holder pending on hook and yarn size used. Recommended yarn and hook size is mentioned below in materials. Please read below.
