Any sockyarn with a gauge of 28 stitches and 34 rows , and 400 meters on 100 gram is convenient for this pattern. Even lace yarn, 800 meters on 100 gram, could be used, when held double.

To get a simiar look as my socks, I advise you to use handdyed yarn, for example Hedgehog Sock, Twist Sock or La bien Aimée MCN light, or Malabrigo Sock or Manos del Uruguay Fino. I used approximately 70 grams for one pair of socks

The pattern is written for three shoe sizes: 36/37 38/39 and 40/41

The socks are knitted in the round on doublepointed sock needles, no.3 eu size.
The heels are knitted with a short row technique.
