Winter Hooded Collar
Sizes: Child / junior / adult / oversized adult
Gauge: 13 sts per 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles
Suggested needles: 6 mm circular needles, 60-80 cm long
Yarn and amounts: 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 g Hillesvåg Blåne/Troll or Alafosslopi or 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 g Sandnes Fritidsgarn or Rauma Vams
Extra: You will need 2 stitch markers (SM)
The Winter Hooded Collar is just what the name implies: both a hood and a collar, with a roomy fit. It is knitted from the top down, with a doubled neckband in rib. Short rows are worked to create the hood. Finally, stockinette stitch is worked in the round to create the collar. The collar is finished with a ribbed edge and an Italian bind off. The Winter Hooded Collar works just as well on a chilly hike outside as it does paired with your nice coat in the winter.
Enjoy the knitting!
