Vinterroser (danish for Winter Roses) is a round yoke sweater with a sparkling rose pattern.

I designed the sweater to celebrate the last reminiscence of winter. If there ever were roses at this time of year, I’m sure they would look like this - a bright colour and with a touch of sparkling rime on the petals.

The sweater is worked top down in one piece. The top down construction makes it easy to adjust length of body and sleeves to personal measurements.

Model is wearing size S on bust size 86 cm.
Recommended ease / bevægelsesfrihed 5-10 cm.

Yarn / garn:
Light fingering weight.
The sample was knit using Isager Alpaca 2 (100 g/ 500 m), colour 2S (MC) 250 g, Isager Tvinni (100 g/ 510 m) colour 28, approx. 10 g, and Drops Glitter (10 g/700 m), colour 02 silver, a few meters. Yardage applies to all 3 sizes.

Gauge / strikkefasthed:
26 sts and 36 rows/rounds = 10 cm in stocking stich / glatstrik.

Needle size /pinde:
2.5 mm circular needle 40 cm; 3 mm circular needles 40 cm and 60 cm, and double pointed needles.
