An advent calendar shawl mystery knit-along for winter solstice!

Vintersolhvervssjal (Winter solstice shawl) is designed to be a break in a lovely, but often hectic month. It is pure enjoyment of colours, patterns and texture, and focus is on smaller and manageable sections, which makes the colours and yarns play together in the shawl. The finished shawl is big and beautiful and perfect either for dressing up for a celebration or to give as a holiday gift.

The full pattern has now been released, so all can knit the shawl from start to finish.

Each part contains multiple elements, which can either be utilised as a calendar in the calendar, or just for knitting entertainment during the week before the next clue.

Materials
200 g thin wool yarn (300 m/50 g) in 4 colours – 50 g of each, for example Saga from Filcolana in 4 colours
100 g thin lace yarn (preferably at least 7-800 m/50 g) in 4 colours – 25 g of each, for example Tussah Silk from garnvärk in 4 colours
Circular needle size 4 mm, 80-100 cm, stitch marker
