Your size’s choice should be based on finished chest measurements as you can shorten/lengthen body and sleeves length if needed. Age label is just there to give a reference. Measure your child’s chest while wearing normal clothes (or clothes intended to be worn with the cardigan) and pick a finished garment size taking in consideration the amount of ease you wish to have.

Materials
• MC: 325 (350, 375, 400, 425, 450, 600, 700, 800, 1100, 1200) yards of fingering weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge
• CC: 40 (50, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 100, 120) yards of fingering weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge
• 32’’ circular needle and double pointed needles (DPNs) US # 2½ and 3 (3 mm and 3.25 mm) or any size required to obtain the stockinette stitch gauge
• Other : 4 stitch markers, 2 stitch holders, 6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10) 0.5’’ buttons
