Viol is the Danish word for “Violet”. The Viol cowl is worked in 2-color double knit in the round.

This pattern includes directions for knitting the cowl in 3 different sizes Small (Medium, Large) - circumference 66 (77, 88) centimeters and a height of 24 (24, 24) centimeters.

This pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 30 stitches per 10 centimeters (2-color double knit) i.e. a yardage of approximate 385-400 meters per 100 grams.

This pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is familiar with 2-color double knit (worked in the round), a knitter who is able to follow written instructions as well as follow charts.
