This is my second sock design using my new heel technique I’m calling Gusset Shift heel. Knitting the heel flap and gusset continues in the round so you are not required to pick up stitches along a heel flap knit flat. In addition, the pattern starts with a tip for the join that you can apply to any accessory that is knit in the round.
