Violet Beauregard
From Stitch 'N Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker:
I find inspiration for my designs in many places; a large purple shawl I found in a rummage sale was the starting point for this skirt. I’m confident in saying that it’s very easy to complete since it’s only the third crochet project I have ever tackled! The drawstring waist offers the option to wear as low as you’d like--showing off either your hips or your legs. The length can easily be altered--try it on after each scallop round until you’re happy with the length. I’d like to thank my friend from Stitch ‘N Bitch NYC, Jessamyn for coming up with such a great name for this project.
