This is a very simple but effective pattern that makes a stripy, cosy scarf.

January 2009 - I have updated the pdf pattern because someone alerted me to a mistake - oops! I had said cast on 24 stitches but then the pattern was for 30. It works either way, but it is best to be consistent, of course!
