This colorwork hat takes between 20 and 30 grams each of five colors of dk weight yarn. The easy to repeat stitch motifs make it a nice project for a colorwork novice but the design is interesting enough that knitters of all levels will enjoy working it up. Choose whatever method you lie for working in the round. The pictured hat was done on a 16 inch cord needle and finished on double points.
