Violet socks are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles from the cuff down to the toe. If you prefer the Magic Loop technique, then use a circular needle.

Size guide: I have provided sizes S, M, and L. Size S is for those with narrow feet, M for those with average foot width, and L for those with wide feet. Foot length and width do not necessarily correlate, which is why I have separated the two. If you have narrow feet and a size 39, you should follow the instructions for size S and choose the length that fits your foot when you reach that point.

Size: S (M) L
Foot length: 22 (24) 27 cm (equivalent to size 35/37 (38/40) 41/43)
Leg height to the start of the heel: approx. 16 cm

Yarn: Drops Fabel (137 m.)
Alternative yarn: Sandnes Sisu
Note the yardage when choosing alternative yarn. The yardage of the yarn in the pattern is listed in parentheses. If the alternative yarn has a shorter yardage, you may need more skeins.
Yarn quantity: main color 2 skeins for all sizes (color no. 917)
pattern color 1 skein (color no. 100)
Approximately 7-8 grams of the pattern color are used, so you can use leftover yarn here.

Recommended needles: double-pointed needles 2.5 mm and 3 mm or circular needle 2.5 mm and 3 mm (80 cm) if you prefer to use the Magic Loop technique.
Gauge: 26 stitches = 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles.
