Violette Socks
The Violette socks have a interesting structure in two colors . Mix & match your favorite sock yarn for a perfect colorcombo. The heel is knitted in one piece with the ‘wrap & turn’ method.
Measurements:
Size: S (M, L), shoe size is adjustable
Gauge: (10cm x 10cm) {4”x 4”} 30 st x 40 r
Swatch: Rib 1/1 (blocked & with two colors)
Note: Because you alternate colors it is possible your sock will be tighter than you are used to. To avoid that go up a needlesize (or 2).
Supplies:
DPN needles: 2.75 mm & 3,25 mm {US: 2 & 3, UK: 12 & 10} (or higher if necessary)
Yarn: 30 - 40 gr of each color
Yarn suggestion: Kremke edelweiss Alpaca, Ginger & Thyme sock yarn (fingering weight)
