Violin finished measures approx 12 inches using the 2.2mm crochet hook. I used a soft alpaca wool because its the only one i could find in my desired colour at the store, but it’s lovely and soft. One 50g ball was enough for the violin and I used black and fawn scraps for the other parts.
You will need a yarn needle too and a thread of choice for the strings. I used gutterman irridescent yarn for a glittery string. You will need stitch markers and fibre filling too. A small piece of card or plastic for the bridge.
