I think the year end mashup of my club patterns is my very favorite to design and knit! This year’s pattern is no exception to that rule.

For the main body of the stole or poncho, I used a variation that combines the diamond motif used in High Desert and Meeks Bay and combined it with the chevron pattern also used in those shawls. The ends begin with the twig panel from High Desert, then onward to echo the mesh pattern from RedBrush. The leaves in the border hail from Night Blossoms. At the very ends–between the leaf points–you will find a motif from Meeks Bay used as a last ornament before binding off.

This pattern includes both fully charted and fully written instructions. Both poncho and stole versions are included, and pattern is easily re-sized using extra chart repeats (or fewer, as the case may be).
