Virgin Mother Mary
by Melbangel
This is a crocheted form/figurine/statuette/sculpture of Virgin Mother Mary aka The Blessed Virgin Mary. She is about 9 inches(22.9 cm) tall and 4.5 inches(11.4 cm) widest.
For this pattern, you will need to know how to slip stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, decrease, working in the rounds, working in rows and some sewing skills.
This pattern consists of 9 pages. It comes with many pictures detailing the doll crocheted at different stages.
I’ve stuffed the crocheted doll with polyfill. The acrylic yarn I used is 18 wraps per inch and hence is categorised under ‘fine/laceweight’ yarn. Wraps per inch (or WPI) is a measure of the grist or the thickness of a yarn.
I used a 2.2 mm Tulip crochet hook.
