Majority of the days, I wear my hair in a braid as it is an easy way to keep my hair out of my face. Especially with a toddler that is constantly on the move. My son excitedly begged me to make him another hat after he saw the green skein of yarn. Of course I agreed and got to work designing this beanie. Upon completion of this beanie, my husband commented that the cables look like plaited hair I usually wear and casually mentioned naming the pattern “Virgo’s Plait.” As I did not have a name in mind, I went with his suggestion.

Virgo’s Plait is a cable beanie that is knit in the round from the bottom up.
