Visby Socks
Worked from the top down, these socks begin with a sturdy but flexible German twisted cast-on at the leg and end with a Kitchener-stitch toe. A seed-stitch element adds an unexpected bit of texture to a traditional chevron motif, one that’s enhanced in the eye-of-partridge heel-flap pattern.
Finished Size About 7¼ (8½)“ (18.5 21.5 cm) foot circumference, 8½ (10)” (21.5 25.5 cm) foot length from back of heel to tip of toe, and 9¾ (11¼)“ (25 28.5 cm) leg length from top of cuff to base of heel. Socks shown measure 7¼” (18.5 cm) foot circumference.
