The animal otter (Lutra lutra) and the flower Linnaea borealis is the provincial symbols of Småland in Sweden. In the darkest of forest, she dances above the stones like a fairy in her pink skirt, so tiny and neat.

This cuff-down sock pattern is perfect for scrap yarn knitting.
I used the colors below, which was originally bought from three different suppliers. I hope you like it!

Needles (suggested sizes)
With magic-loop technique, use 80 cm round cable US 1 1/2 (2.5 mm S/M)/US 2 1/2 (3 mm) or the size you need for the gauge. You can also use DPNs. The pattern description is written for DPNs.

Yarn
50g à 200 m sock yarn. Arwetta classic, Svarta fåret Frost, Trekking.
Drops nord gives a larger circumference M/L ca 22 cm on needle 3 mm. The sock in picture is knitted with stashed yarn from different suppliers but with the approx. same thickness.
