Vissla
-- SIZE 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 are not test knitted due to difficulties finding test knitters. Please reach out to the designer (@woolrevolution) if you are interested in test knitting in exchange of a free copy of the pattern. --
The vissla (whistle) slipover is a modern interpretation of the traditional fair isle oxo-pattern. The slipover is knitted bottom up, at first in the round and then the front and back piece are knitted back and forth. The pattern recommends using the backwards knitting technique when knitting back and forth. The technique allows you to avoid purling when knitting colorwork flat.
SIZE AND MEASUREMENTS
The pattern comes in eight sizes, and the recommended positive ease is 6 cm.
-- Finished slipover bust measurements:
72 (84) 96 (108) 120 (132) 144 (156) cm
