Hook: 5 mm / US G crochet hook.
Always use a hook size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Gauge: 3½ sts & 7 rows = 10cm / 4” over Puff st pattern on 5mm hook with 4 strands of yarn, without blocking. Exact gauge is not essential, but fabric should be firm.

Pattern Information: Vitreous is worked from the base upwards. The base is a flat rectangle made up of slip stitches, and the body of the bag is made up of puff stitches worked in the round upwards from the base. Straps are applied to the sides of the bag from the bottom up.
Four strands of yarn are held together throughout.
